Birthdays should be celebrated for an entire week, at least in my home it definitely is :D So 2 days before my birthday, our celebrations started with a much needed shopping trip to R-City mall in Ghatkopar with my mom & sis. On our way back, we stopped to meet an old friend at Vikrant Circle, Ghatkopar East and then while waiting for our cab back home, went to Oasiss for a quick dessert treat.
Extremely polite staff and a variety of colorful, really delectable looking delish dishes welcomed us in. My mom and sister are not that into desserts but I can scoop up 10 sweets in one go and not even burrp, so it was an evenly matched party I guess :D
Started off with Choco Chips Brownie, make sure to have it warm, the chocolate all melted and the brownie itself so gooey, this one is a must-have. Even my sister who is not a humungous brownie fan (unless it comes on a sizzling plate with vanilla ice cream :P) dug in like a maniac. Love!
They have a huge collection of chocolates, we tried Almond Rocks (my mom & sis found them too sweet,it was okay for me) and a white chocolate one with bubblegum flavor in the middle, unique and quite nice. I have had chocolates at Oasiss Matunga branch too some time ago and they have innovative flavors for every palate :)
Since my sister loves good cheesecakes, we tried Blueberry Cheesecake next and she liked it a lot. It was not excessively sweet or dense, rather light which is how my sister loves her desserts, so full marks to this from her.
My star dessert was the stone cold ice cream that we tried, a strawberry + blueberry mix with colorful rainbow sprinkles and chocolate chips, couldn't have asked for a better ending to a long and eventful day :)
The vibrant display, the chocolatey goodness around, the beautiful cakes were tempting to the hilt but it was already late, we had spent the whole day in traffic & standing in long payment queues at the mall, so we had to take our leave even though I would have probably spent 2 more hours trying out all their pastries, brownies and ice creams, if left alone! Suffice to say I will definitely be back soon for this unfinished business :D
